We just learned from autosport.be that Belgian talent Bertrand Baguette will test with the BMW Sauber team on Thursday. Baguette who won the 2009 World Series by Renault title completed a test with the Renault F1 team today.

Today Baguette finished with a 9th time (1’20″511), but he did tell he did only work on the aero package and not on the setup, they wheren’t concentrating on putting some strong times on the table. He didn’t make any mistakes and the team was impressed Baguette told the press.
Baguette has put all his focus on F1 next year, he has told GP2 isn’t an option. Rumours say he is close to signing a deal with Renault, but so are other drivers like Kobayashi and Ho Ping-Tung. His test with Sauber will only improve his market value.
We wish Bertrand all the best!
